About Copyright Bar
The Copyright bar is the section containing necessary information under the footer of a website. In the old version, the Copyright bar section is fixed under the footer, if you want to edit or set up, you need to use custom code. In the current version, this section is separated into a separate section. Users can easily set up without having to know much about technology.
In this article, we will explore the Copyright section and how to set up it in the Normcore theme.
How To Access Copyright Bar
On all pages, the Copyright section is always displayed on the Footer Group.
How To Configure Copyright Bar
Basic Components
The setup of the Copyright bar section will have main sections General, Utilities, Copyright bar and Payment method.
General
Firstly, you can change the color scheme for this section by selecting the scheme here. To change the theme color, please go to Theme settings > Colors.
Then you can set full width when enabling “Enable fullwidth content“.
Utilities
In the Utilities section you can change the currency type and adjust the language options.

Copyright Bar
You can change the content of the Copyright bar in the “Copyright content” section. And you can use the [year] variable to display the current year.
Payment Method
You can change the content before payment, if you leave it blank it will hide that value. And if you want to add payment method you need to click “payment settings” to setup additional payment method

1. How to show more information?
You can choose to add metafield variables to display additional data.
2. Why is the desktop mode I see on the editor theme different from the desktop mode on the live page?
Because in desktop mode in theme editor, there is a sidebar on both sides, so the width will be reduced to laptop mode. To see the entire desktop mode in editor theme, please click on “Full screen” like this picture:
